Setting up your LINEGUARD

Before you start
Your LINEGUARD ships with the mounting hardware loose. Assemble it once, on the dock or at the kitchen table, and you won't touch it again.
Three steps on the boat
Attach
Place LINEGUARD against a railing, stanchion, or cleat with the blue clip facing the direction you want to deploy.
Deploy
Pull the webbing out and zig-zag it across the deck, gunwales, or wherever birds tend to land.
Secure
Lift the lever, thread the webbing through the opening, and close it to lock the clip onto the webbing.
What it looks like set up
Two common patterns. Yours will be different. Wider and more irregular is always better.
Rail to rail across the cockpit deck, two or three passes.
Along the gunwale line and up over the hardtop.
Adding Antenna Mate
The Antenna Mate is designed to be attached to VHF antennas and other circular structures up to ¾” diameter. When in use, the Antenna Mate provides a routing loop for the webbing to be deployed over the hardtop or other areas that may be difficult to reach.
Sold separately. Fits antennas up to 3/4" diameter.
Open the jaws and wrap them around the VHF antenna, just below where you want the anchor point.
Squeeze to lock. It should stay put on its own before you attach anything to it.
Thread the LINEGUARD webbing clip through the Antenna Mate, routing the webbing up and over the hardtop.
